Jotform+Filepicker.io=build forms in the cloud

We are happy to announce that JotForm and Filepicker.io will be working together to enhance your form building experience.

JotForm is the first web based WYSIWYG form builder. Before JotForm, web based form builders were painful to use. You would add a question by going to an “Add Question” page. JotForm introduced the idea of building a web form on a WYSIWYG editor using JavaScript drag and drop and AJAX. The best part is that it takes just two minutes to create a Jotform. Jotform has seen explosive growth since it launched in November 2005 and currently serves over 1 Mn. users in 177 countries.

Jotform is out to disrupt the form building space and quickly realized that a good form builder should allow the user to upload photos and files from any source and from any device. Why is this important? Well, increasingly the user’s photos are in her Facebook, Instagram, Flickr accounts and her files are spread across Dropbox, Box, Google Drive, Evernote etc. Uploading these photos and files into a form means that the user has to go through the obnoxious process of downloading from one service and then uploading it to the form. The complexity doesn’t end here; with the plethora of mobile devices, users want to be able to upload content into their forms from their mobile devices. Have you noticed that mobile browsers disable regular upload buttons on the forms? Well not anymore!

With Jotform+Filepicker.io users can now upload their files from any service in the cloud to Jotform and from any device-iPads, iPhones and Android. It also means that you can now have multimedia enabled forms where users can use the webcam/camera phone record functionality to record videos and take pictures in response to your surveys. Wouldn’t that be awesome when you want to capture user feedback on how they feel about your product? Well, give it a try and let us know what you think.

So, what awesome form are you going to build?
